dudes, whats the problem? The guy just wants to try somethign different, he's an artist. If he keeps producing the same old stuff over and over again he's bound to get bored. So what if he remixes a rock song. If it sounds good, then GREAT! if not, then nice try. It doesn't hurt. BT is a great example. He has much talent, why limit it to just one style of music. He's done movie scores and stuff, worked on pop songs, let him use his talents in whatever he wants.
Music is music. :P If you like it, great, if not, then don't listen. :P Why be mad at a producer for innovation and experiementing, its the only way music will progress.
