hey man i'm in the same boat here. i go to school in the states and whats worse is that i'm in school in the midwest.....absolutely fuck all happening over here.....

i can't wait for thanksgiving.....it will have to do me until i come back for christmas...

I hear ya man, I've heard stories about the other parts of the US and how its really boring there...

thank God its not here, DC is a nice area...

but unfortunately, just when I thought my luck was changing, the company I am working for (for only 1 month now, so really....its not my fault!!! :P) has gone bankrupt, due to most likely poor management skills and other problems they had in the past

so now Im left jobless (ofcourse so is everyone else in the company)...and pretty much forced to return back to TO...

although despite what this thread said in the beginning its not what I really wanan do, cause I was looking forward to ayear of work and new experiences in a new place....and catching PvD @ Glow on the 11th

I'm orginally from N. Carolina (right in the middle of the conservative bible belt) It's a whole world of difference from TO and even canada as a whole. I live just south of Buffalo now so I get to go up to TO Often. There isn't near as much to do where I am from so we threw our own parties every weekend and traveled to DC Atlanta and Miami as much as we can. There is a lot of things to do in any big city you go to, even in the US. I really enjoy going up to Canada, but am happy living in America. (Although TO rocks). guess it just depends on what your used to

I moved to guelph from PA and I don't miss it at all, except for my buddies on the EDM scene and a couple people.
