Small? Perhaps - as psytrance parties seldom occur outside of the Reverb, Zen Lounge, or Opera House... but crappy? One would ocntend that a large crappy venue is no better than a small crappy one - it just fits more people and with the Zen getting renovated this summer the underground has a nice place to be holding events, as exemplified by the recently passed 'Axis Mundi' and 'the Natives are Restless' events.

If anyone new to the psytrance world wants the best updates on upcoming events and happenings, be sure to drop by the ektoplazm forums... psychedelic trance is a powerful scene in Toronto, but makes little noise on the public radar. Sometimes you have to go digging...

mad respect to some psy promotors in t.o. but booking the same 4-5 djs ... for every single event is not cool... it gets boring after a while and not everyone is a fan of those 2 venues... (ps when was the last psy party @ the o-house???) , yes psy parties in t.o. are small considering they are usually 300 or less (there are exceptions...e.g. axis mundi..), im not trying to bash anyone here but give an advice... if you do wanna make ur psy parties bigger try to bring something new into the scene ... maybe add more genres...to draw more ppl in order to introduce them to psy.. if youre saying that the docks is a "LARGE CRAPPY VENUE" ...then i really dont know what you're talking about..its probably the 2nd best venue in Toronto after Guv...
The Zen is cool... ReverB is cool..but overused... and doesnt matter which one u go to u always see the same 4-5 djs playing... in the main room at least... no offence... , big up to laz though for doing what he does... hes probably one of the best promotors in town... resistor does good job as well..but they need to work more on their line up & promotion
