i suggest you take heed of your own advice. sound of goodbye sucks all forms of goat balls, and i respect trance, but this transcends that consideration. |
When the Sound of Goodbye came out it was massively received by DJs and listeners alike. It stuck around in charts for years and even broke into mainstream playlists. In the grande scheme of things it is the most successful track Armin has produced.
You might say "popularity doesn't mean anything," and you might be right, but Sound of Goodbye is also beautiful in its own right. The vocals are perfect for the tone of the song, and I've failed to see any other production that captures the mood it does. It is powerful and uplifting, despressing and moving.
As for you trying to insult me, I don't downplay opinion for every track at all. Plenty of people love Burned With Desire, and that's fine. I don't. But anyone who claims that Sound of Goodbye is the "worst song" Armin has produced really needs to get checked.
