I think this club will do well if they are looking to cater to more of a stylish/dressed up crowd (dont know if that is what they in fact are tying to do, I hope they are). I cant count the number of people that I know (GIRLS in particular GIRLS in particular GIRLS in particular) that WONT SET FOOT in a place like GUV (especially on a regular night, not so much for special events) or System Just because the crowd there is so dirty and gross. That crowd is also a little bit older (grown up as Halo 20 put it) and used to party at GUV/Industry way back when. GUV was a good place to party 3-4 years ago but that place has just degenerated into god knows what. Anyone that was going to that place back then will almost assuredly agree with me. There are alot of partiers in TO that want to party with dressed up stylish people and listen to good house music, there just arent that many places where you can do that in Toronto which is why I could TOTALLY see this new club working.

That's described a good 3/4 of the hardcore drugs afterhours scene lmao.

Gino-HB heads is all that you'd really find @ a place like that, or gang-bangers dealing, which was the reason Spin Cat closed down. (security refused entry to a local crack dealer who was a regular and he returned and shot up the place, killing @ least 1 staff member)

Yonge St afterhours is SUPER sketch, anyone partying around 2000 around here remembers all the club deaths we had back then, due to guns and overdoses... *shudder

Have you ever even been to System??? I'll admit that it has its share of "dirty and gross" people, as you put it, but IMO, they are definitely in the minority. I've met some of the coolest people there so don't knock it 'til you've tried it buddy.

Toronto needed this kind of club for loooong time already. And I am pretty sure that the word "dress code" is there just to scare away all the jungle kids and hip hop thugs, I doubt they will be really strict on that.

Meh, for glowsticks, to each their own, but it is kinda funny watching ppl who are new to E thiking they are the greatest thing ever...

As long as some guy in a open shirt doesn't get in my face with them, no biggie.

Only candy-kids or ravers should have access to those things, since it is fun watching them school ppl in propa lightshow technique ;p
