that's my opinion because there are no facts in music, even if it is an opinion i can back up with my personal knowledge and appreciation. and when i say trance i'm limiting the statement to his brand of trance because I also think that other genres are way more mature and complex, even if they're not my thing. sorry i just thought it would be pointless to write IMO in every sentence.
edit: from my perspective he breaks the mold from within the structure more than any of the other dutch dj/producers. his buildups and breakdowns, his sonic landscape, his use of harmonic and melodic progression, and his rhythmic variations, his sharp use of timing and contrast on the decks is way more interesting for me than what Ferry and Armin et. al. do.
tta, i act like what you say is heresy because you make blank statements as if they were the TRUTH when there is no such thing. that is all.

oh yeah, i also hope he doesn't win even if i think he deserves it in my books. take him out of the poll for all i care, at least that will make a lot of people forget about him and stop the senseless bashing....
