well I am still getting used to playing in clubs and the proper eqing that is required so I’m not really able to say with any authority, but I can tell you for certain that when I wear them as a punter the sound clarity is leagues above the foam ones.

When I have used them while playing in a club though i do find it much easier to actually listen to the sound in your headphones as opposed to just hearing it, if that makes any sense.

That'd b the colour I get Amazing to think au.ta is becoming responsible . Amazing. Will be getting them after payday, as tehy DO cut out alot more then what my pair do, and a permanant pair would rock, saving a new pair or 2 every week, which is $30 a month?

great info there - its nice to know that by the time we've realised that hearing loss is occuring its too late to save our ears

I'll be content with having this level of hearing for the rest of my life - and wear my ear plugs with a knowing look if anyone asks in the club!

i would say compared to some people i dont go out much at all, probably once a month on average. Is that time enough to let my ears heal?

curious.

Dood if you listen to ur discman @ level 10/11 or extreme like that its the same thing, i have my mp3player with me all the time, it can go up to level 20, but i never go past 11, there is no need, it begins to clip n become distorted, besides trance music = quality music, n the better the reproduction of it, the bigger our smiles get ... seee like diz --->

Rob - yes sounds like you are deaf to sum extent already, might wanna get it checked out n for fcuk sakes get urself sum earplugs.

One other thing, ive read sumwhere that you shouldn't be tempted to put ur discman levels higher when you are on the train/bus, this is because the street levels are already loud enough as it is, therefore what people mostly do is turn up the volume... BIG NO NO!!!

If the sounds from the street is already invading your ears don't turn up the volume, you are doing more damage as the headphone/earphone is very close to your ear drum, meaning it will damage in a shorter period of time.

I have a family fren who went deaf from discmans, she used to travel to work on the train for years and that fucked them up big time, for every 1 hour you spend listenin to loud music, you should quadriple the number of hours you spend letting your ears relax and get time off to heal themselves.

If you go to G@S, don't turn up the trance in the car/discman, cause that will fcuk your ears up even more then what you have already done to them @ the club, this means that don't listen to music at high volumes for a couple of days.

Lets take care of our hearing peoples, otherwise all our trance music will be pretty worthless when we get older, since we won't be able to listen to it.
