any DJ who has the basics mastered, and tries to put something else in his act to please the crowd
there are plenty of DJ's who deserve zero respect that seem to be huge
which confuses me

there are DJ's who have only a very slight grasp on what is meant by the term mixing that are treated like gods
how the fuck does that work?

and Paul van Dyk
and Ferry Corsten
and Armin
etc...
you see where I'm going
and no playing the accapella of Yet Another Day over Suburban Train does not count as something "else" to please the crowd

Dude PVD and Ferry at least understand and use the concept of mixing. I have never heard anyone train wreck like Tiesto does...the man is just HORRIBLE

ROFL .. YOU MUST BE JOKING!

We have a shitload of un-noticed talent down here in Oz, but that most definitely doesn't include Nik Fish.

There is a lot of talent down here that really has difficulty getting aired outside of Australia, though the prog guys like Luke Chable and Infusion are starting to get some recognition. However, once DJs like Liquid M, Diggs & Morro, Steve Strangis and Cameron O'Shea start getting big, watch out

PvD should be able to mix to a better standard, the majority of the time he's mixing the same beat
Ferry is completely unpredictable
Tiesto is a cross fade slammer
