Maybe the next one will have a losers bracket. I just want to sought out the rules first and keep this as simple as possible. You're welcome to keep making comments.

Just some observations on how things are going so far, and some suggestions:
1. It's important that when you send a song to your apponent that he has HEARD BEFORE [HD] that you send another before incrementing the song sent track number - your apponent cannot send another track until he gets one he hasn't heard before. If you don't, it will be to the advantage of someone who has heard everything. Imagine if every song you send has been HEARD BEFORE by your apponent, then you will never get a chance to knock him out, while he sends you tracks that you haven't heard which may knock you out. Look at my "HOW TO SPEED THINGS UP" post on page 3 for an example. (If you're getting confused with the rule changers PM me and I'll clarify).
2. The "Top 20" rule is not set in stone; I only suggested 20 because it's a nice figure that fits on the page. You can add links to your top 100 if you like, or post your top 25, or your top 10, it doesn't matter to me. The point of the exercise is to communicate what your tastes are in the best possible way, not the 20 figure. Just remember not to go into so much detail that your apponent can't be bothered reading it all.
3. When you desribe what you like it might be an idea to add examples to clarify what your saying. For example, I might say I like build-ups and sweet female vocals (eg. Chicane - Autumn Tactics (Thrillseekers Club Mix)), and I like epic synths (eg. Firewall - Sincere). Another idea along the same lines is you could point out what tracks were breakthrough, highly influencial for you. For example, for me Nitromethane - Time to Die (Seraque Mix) was the track that first made me appreciate how awesome a purely instrumental trance track could be.
4. You do not have to use this thread for your duels if you do not want to. You could use a chat program, or do it through PMs, or maybe meet in a bar armed with your iPods. Just make sure you post everything that happened when you're finished. You could even put all the songs your apponent suggested and all the songs you suggested in the same final summary post. Anything to speed up the process.
5. You do not have to comment on every song if you're the quiet type, or give excuses or apologies, if you do not want to.
