yes, have you seen the latest south park episode? fucking hilarious!
"yeh, we're goth. we hate you all. conformists! trying to live your happy disney lives. conformists."
"pain? what do you know about pain *signature jerk of head to get the hair out of eyes"
"we don't conform. so instead we all wear black, write poems and talk about pain. yes."
i've always been a non-conformist but in my own sense - aka, thinking on my own, liking my own things. none of that "wearing black and listening to gothic music" stuff. uniqueness and non-conformity is not about being different, it's about being yourself!
it's not about not listening to music to which everyone listens, it's about not listening to music that you don't like and listening to music that you DO like. |
LMAO!! no i havent seen that episode of South Park but it sounds hilarious.. yeah i kinda feel the same way you do. I dont buy from Abercrombie and Fitch or American Eagle.. most of my clothes i own, i have no idea where i got them from..most likely thrift stores.
I like all music too, i grew up listening to oldies and beach boys and then classic rock, then i had my little foray into different genres: Punk, emo, heavy metal, 80s etc.. but Trance is what has stayed at the top for me. That doesnt mean im a candy raver or i do drugs.. its hard to explain.
i dont feel like i can stereotypically fit in any genre of music because I just cant. I cant dress all in black if im a goth, i cant be a harcore skater if im punk, i cant wear chunky frame glasses and black fingernail polish if im emo, and i certainly can't wear UFOs and bacpacks or Diesel and Armada clothes because im a trancer.
I dont know i listen to what i like and wear what i like. Anti-Conformity Alliance 2004!
