My g/f lives 2 hours away, and we've been together for 2 yrs. It depends on the people, and situation. For me, I appreciate the time we do spend together, which is only the weekends. One thing is, you both have to be on the same page. The timing has to be right, and everything will work out if it's meant to be. Good luck bro... enjoy it while you have it. Sometimes you don't know what you have, until it's gone.

its hurts me to say. I just begun to go out with this girl for the past 2 weeks. Problem is its the summer and everyone knows how funt hat is. Big problem right. Well when summer ends I must go back to school and she must also. she pretty much summed it up as saying this would be a summer thing. I hate hearing that but that it the truth. 3 months without seeing her does hurt a relationship. Anyone got any advice where you think it would make her feel more close to actually say I care for you so much I would try my hardest to stay together no matter what. I don't mind a lonmg distance thing as its all based on trust. It is true we just met. My opnion is I have to gain her trust so she would care even more. Any opinions to somewhat change her mind about this just being a summer thing and when school starts thats it??
I would rather not know the future instead of knowing something good will end.

I started dating my current girlfriend in the middle of April. We both attend the University of Wisconsin ... however the problem is I am from Wisconsin and she is from New Jersey. But we decided to try and stick it out for the three months with a visit in the middle to ease the time by. So far things have gone great and it's only another month until we will be back together. I guess it just depends on the level of your relationship at the time you guys split and how long you are going to be apart, and how far. I guess there is no one way to convince somebody to stay with you, they have to feel themselves that it is worth it.
