1. Solid Globe – North Pole Has that incredible melody that just reminds me of summer, makes me feel happy the instant that melody kicks in.
2. Infusion – Legacy (Junkie XL Remix) The best vocal track I’ve heard this year and one of the best I’ve ever heard period. The lyrics are brilliant, the melody is brilliant; this song got me interested in breaks.
3. Avril Lavigne - I'm with You (Leama & Moor Remix) The best remix of the year, and a brilliant piece of work by leama and moor, I have 2 copies of this, which is a testament to how good this is, nearly my best of the year but just missed out.
4. Invisible Inc. – Stars Brilliant song, perfect for an intro, spend 2 months trying to track it down when I first heard Sasha spin it. Beautiful Track.
5. Sasha - Magnetic North (Subsky In Your Face Remix) Outstanding work from one of best artists around at the moment, all of subsky’s work has been of a very high standard this year (see Albino and Four Days)
6. Adam Sheridan - Lektrik (Original mix) what can I say, one of the best remixes on
7. Digital Witchcraft – Fingerpaint everything from this alias has been gold dust, it was hard not to put every production released this year, if you haven’t heard it spoil yourself, music doesn’t get much more harmonious than this.
8. Kenny Shifter - Dirty Little Self (Andy Moor Vocal Mix) Top remix by Andy moor, in the vain of dirty sticky floors, with haunting chords and vocals that will make you quiver.
9. Leama And Moor - Shades of Red has only just been released, but this will rip up dance floors in 2004, crying out for remix attention.
10. Maurice & Noble - Hoochie Koochie [Man] (Playablesound Retouch Mix) Makes great use of the guitar, in this progressive song, that is fun to listen to, and has one of the best break downs of any progressive song this year in my eyes.
11. Filo & Peri - Niagara (Original Mix) the boys from New York do it again, hasn’t been released yet, but destined to do well.
12. Paul Oakenfold - Zoo York (Leama Remix) As you can tell I like leama and moor a lot, they have been on great form this year, and are going to be bigger than Gabriel and Dresden I think.
13. u2 - Beautiful Day (Paul Oakenfold Perfecto Mix) this reminds me of the premiership on itv, but I love the way the main melody is used, Paul has clearly worked hard on this track, and I should have snapped it up when I saw it for sale at replayrecords.com, one of the better u2 remixes, and people should take note from this.
14. Fictivision vs C-Quence - Symbols (Mesh Remix)
15. Oceanlab - Satellite (Markus Schulz Coldharbour Mix) waited to hear this track for so long, and I wasn’t disappointed, first heard it on asot, the vocals are something special to me, but the melody is also great, would love to hear a dub returning 93 style remix of this.
16. Kate Bush Vs. Infusion - Running Up That Hill Kate bush can go screw herself, this song is brilliant and I still cant believe the record label didn’t want it released, the breakdown comes from nowhere, infusion are gods.
17. Blue Haze – Subtract another great song by the man behind the panoptic and gazor aliases, if you haven’t heard it you won’t be disappointed.
18. Armin van Buuren feat. Ray Wilson- Yet Another Day (Attention Deficit Multi-Task Remix) The only remix of this song that I can stand, and love the intro and the outro, the melody is wacky and makes it so recognisable, the vocals work best with this mix in my opinion, and sound great.
19. Sasha - Wavy Gravy (Terry Bones Remix) the Best Remix of wavy gravy there is, the song builds and builds, using the main melody to brilliant effect.
20. Robert Nickson – Spiral Stronger than out there, which is saying something, loved this the moment I heard it, reminds me a bit of out there, but cranked up a notch.
