Schranz (note the extra 'c' ) is a popular name for the hard techno Rush, Remus and friends produce. Also Liebing is associated with schranz, it's really just some popular name narrow-minded people who'd like to put everything in its own box like to use.

What us old folks (over 30 and still into this popular beat combo style of a tune stuff) want to know is:

what's the difference between hard house and acid house. I know that acid house came first... was it D-Mob's "We Call It Acieeed" that caused the other popular beat combo makers of the early 1990's to coin another word for the sub-genre... or was the bass getting less tinny as better recording technologies became available?
