I think some of you guys missed what I was referring to in particular

what I was referring to was people who are elitist when it comes to all other genres other than trance - not within trance itself. for example, when G&D remixed Britney's Me Against The Music the majority of people flamed before they had even heard the song, only for the sole fact that the name of the person who they were remixing was Britney Spears.

For the record, that was a fuckin wicked track and I think the only reason I've never heard it in a club is because the DJs are afraid they'll get shit for it

i have to disagree with you on the whole part of people liking ATRC just for the vocals. i mainly listen to it because of how much it builds from the beginning. personally i think the vocals just add colour and thats not the reason why i still like this track. i don't care how simple it is, just whether the tune is quality and in this case it is. you wont see me going crazy over dj sammy simplicity.
