J.Lo and Ben breaking up and getting back together, Britney getting married, etc etc.. It's all showbiz. And we bite on it like crazy.
I honestly don't care at all but yes, I do engage in extensive criticism of the entertainment industry from time to time, and so do all journalists, critics, etc. - And that is exactly what they want - to be talked about.

I agree. But it's not the fact that they showed a tit that bothers me, it's the fact that every single person on the planet is talking about it. I think at least one thread about it has exploded in almost every North American TA forum.
As long as people eat it up like ice cream, you can hardly blame them for publicity-whoring. Fickle, fickle, fickle. This is one of the few times I'm actually glad I have geek friends who didn't bother watching the superbowl and hence didn't even know about this "fascinating" event!
