LOL. Everyone who has posted in this thread who...
a.) supports a remix of a Britney Spears track
b.) is not from the United States
is hereby BANNED from ever saying ANYTHING bad about Americans and their knowledge of music. (I.E. the cliche "techno" label used for all electronica, etc.)

hmm so Holden's in it as well eh?
sander, deep dish, g&d have pulled some good pop remixes before so dont see the need to hold double standards.

I don't think there's a problem if a producer can actually do a DECENT remix to anything mainstream, and I mean totally different from the original, only being able to tell because of the vocals maybe?
Holden's remix was different, but it was plain as fuck, did he have any motivation or what?

Okay iv hurd the Album and lemmi tell you guyz.... Tiesto is gono make it back to the top again with these hits. The thing about it is that hes trying 2 bring a new style tho just like he did with Just be and it worked. they songs areunt TOO HIGHT up. but the vocals acaully are the best thing in 2007. The Track Carpe Noctum is like traffic but it hink he could of prefected the shit ouf it. but generalllyy its an amazing album...oh and Ten Seconds Before Sunrise is like Forever today TIMES 12

Holden has shown a sense of humor in the past... I don't know the story behind this track, but I'm going with my hunches that:
-he likes Moroder
-he likes Spears (or at least liked her voice in that song)
-he wanted to do something straightahead and not so full of stutter edits and mass quirkiness with sidechaining and vocal gating and lots of other weird fancy schmancy things
-he just wanted to make a club mix for the dancefloor so people could have a good time gettin' down to Britney and maybe not even realize it! Those are the best moments, when you don't know who the singer is and you like the song... but later you find out it's a singer you normally totally despise. Paradigm shift, huh?

the problem with downloading mp3s from soulseek (part 2): there's an mp3 doing the rounds on p2p claiming to be my remix of brintey spears. it's not, which is kind of obvious since its a cheesy bootleg botch job over a weak-ass donna summer bassline. as far as i know my versions (there are 2, dub and vocal, completely different from each other) arent out there yet. they're the thing i've done that im the most happy with, ever.. i dont know a release date yet, but when i do, i'll write.
it's for Jive Records by the way. He played the dub last week, and that totally rocks!

Indeed, this track rocks!
Loving it, don't understand why its being slated due to the fact that its a remix of britney spears tho, who gives a toss about the original artist/vocalist, the tune is great and thats all that should matter.
Just my thoughts.

Sounds nothing like James Holden, and I've had this song for about a month. I've listened to it once, its not intresting.
