Such a beautiful track... and beautiful vocals. I enjoyed the delay/effects on the vocals, gives it a different flavor.

I want to use this in my next mix, if I have your permission too anyways, let me know!

Respect!

The remix is great, although I'd wish it would be a bit slower, now I have to pitch it down to match other similar tunes when playing this..

But the only real problem imo is the synchronization, as is mentioned earlier. The vocals on the last few beats before the chorus ("time cannot erase" etc) are the most irritating parts, but around 7:17 it's not noticeable due to the missing drum loop, so it would be great if the same effect was used on the other parts as well. Also, the piano seems to be off-beat at times, but it doesn't matter that much..

Please let me know if it's ok to play this at dj-gigs and/or radio show.

this track is fuckin mint, not because the vocals are mint, but because i like the way it was produced. i sort of use the same style, nice chill progressive sort of, im really liking it. just a little criticsm though, when the vocals first come in, they echo on top of each other, sounds kind of awkward, not sure if this is your finished version, but if it is not, i would definitly like to hear the final product. also, where did you get the acapella for that song from? pm me if you can, thnx =)

Nice, nice! I like the original version of Evanescence. But a remix is great! Such is this remix I like the melody very well, but i think it would be better if the vocals didn't loop each other. Hm, difficult to explain what i mean in English..

I think you mean the delay?

Hey. I really like this remix, even if it is really chill. There's only a couple of times when the vocal seems kind of faded/rushed to fit the tempo, and the piano sounds really watery but that might be the way you reverbed everything, I dunno.
I definitely liked the stuff you did to the vocals, in this melody it worked a lot better than with Nothing.
My thoughts.

it seems that ppl either love the reverb or hate it. I personally find it annoying and not spacey like james holden, but instead disorientating.

I guess it is just a mattter of personal taste. But i do think that the first time you hear the song it takes a while to understand what's going on, therefore i don't think this could very work in a club atmosphere; too many vocals clashing is never a good thing but it sounds especially bad in a loud, club enviroment...i would just think the d-jaying is fucking up his mixing or something.

Could you not post another mix where the delay is not kept on for so long? It really is a great production apart from i think the delay is too loud and spans too long across the vocals.

Please consider posting a less reverby version for those who are not keen on the reverb

MyTH
