Are you actually being serious  Wow. You can understand a thread, understand what people are saying more or less or the ideas they are trying to convey when you READ their posts and STILL not be able to EXPRESS YOURSELF in words if you don't master the language very well.
Let me give you a concrete example to highlight my point: Exhibit A: bronze's post:

We were talking about the war in Iraq in this thread. So you see, he obviously understood the post and tried very hard to express himself in english (he was speaking french before). Note that he doesn't speak english very well...He admits it himself  So give the guy a break, because sometimes he feels like expressing his opinion in a slightly more eloquent way and can't do so because of his english. That was MY point since the beginning, a point you hopefully don't misconstrue.

Alright, so I did, and NONE of the posters took this issue as seriously as you. There were many light-hearted barbs at the french and the french language, but all in good humour.

Of course, if Nellie actually did feel harrassed, then you would have had a point. Of course, you don't, because Nellie didn't feel harrassed and actually posted the pics at the end voluntarily

Actually I can read very well thank you very much I was simply responding, in that specific paragraph that you quoted, to your COMPLETELY unfounded accusations that I (or others) was (were) speaking french to show off our language skills. I have the right to defend myself don't I, especially against accusations that frankly, are uncorroborated and make you sound rather stupid. I told you why already, so maybe you should re-read my reason.
Now as to your gripes about not being able to follow the debate because it's in a different language and that it degenerates into a conversation between two people, who said that the debate could still NOT be going on WITH two people talking between themselves. There are usually more than two people debating, so I hardly think that two people who start talking to each other within the context of a debate is consequential, and HARDLY makes the debate a failure Furthermore, that happens in most threads anyway (i.e two people within the context of a debate talking to each other), so I don't really think your point is valid, unless, of course, you raise hell against them also

You do of course have objective grounds to tell someone to post his sources (reason is self-evident). However, I said you had no OBJECTIVE GROUNDS to tell someone what to do in THIS specific case, because of the reasons that I've presented. So your analogy does not hold, sorry. Check your logic

Ahhhhhh...and so we come to the real issue I agree that I might have used the word inappropriately, in retrospect, and if I offended you, then I present my apologies. I still, and however, don't think your point is really valid (for reasons presented above) and hopefully you can see why.
So in conclusion, just remember the magical words: SKIP IT!!!!!
