Its not because they are by PvD, it would not matter who remixed that track or how many times it had been remixed, i do not like any version of it cos of the vocals, non vocal versions are cool, the music itself is cool but i simply do not like the male vocals in this track.
They do nothing for me, i am not a hater of male vocals cos some tracks are simply brilliant with male vocals.
Example:
Faithless - we come one
that track could not be as good if it had female vocals.
Basic Avalon - Firewalk is a great Male vocal track.
Superman Lovers - starlight, also a nice male vocal track.
As well as a great many others.
With the jam and spoon - be angeled track they for me dont fit, its hard to explain but the emotion of that track would be better conveyed by a female vocalist.
