Sasha does NOT play underground, at least not anymore. Most of Sasha's track are very melodic and trancey.
If you are going to take the set at Crobar as an example then I must say that, that was Digweeds influence, since he did control the set throughout the entire night.
In my opinion, I think Sasha is at the same level as PvD regarding 'playing "pop" tunes". They both play what's popular in its genre. Now I don't find anything wrong with that but I just felt the need to clarify that.

dont talk crap,,you are talking out of your ring,,,give me a tracklist of s and d at crobar.....you cant can you....sasha controlled that set from start to finish,,digweed didnt get a look in at the end......

sasha by himself on NYE... that was the most "underground" shit i've heard yet (besides SD at crobar). he played some really mindblowing stuff during the middle few hours at avalon. no real "pop". i don't think dirty stick floors, emotional landscape, cowpander exactly count as pop either...
