Does anyone know the name of a delayering program, where you can import a song and split it in different sounds, and remove or add/edit sounds. Preferable nothing too complicated
Basically what I am trying to do is remove 1 sound and exchange it for another sound in another song. Is that even possible?

i really dont think that type of program exists. unless pro tools does it. but thats a million dollars. if it were that easy, everyone would remix songs

There is no program that I know of that splits music files into individual sound clips. Remember not everything is made with computers, so how what a computer know what sounds to split. The only way it is possible is if someone makes/re-makes the song in Logic, Cubase, Reason, Sonar, etc... that way it is in a format that the computer and program can read.

exactly... remixes are usually made one of these 2 ways. the remixer completely remakes the song, using the same melodies, etc. or the original artist gives the remixer his original work and lets the remixer do what he wants.
