Yes, Andy Cato is the mastermind behind both projects, Beat Foundation being Andy Cato and Mike Mukhopadhyay (Mike Monday) while Groove Armada is Andy Cato and Tom Findlay.

He has done a very diverse range of work over the years, and if you like the sound of the Beat Foundation track, then stuff under the aliases "Big C", "Mothers Pride" and "Qattara" (with Alex Whitcombe) is certainly worth checking out, also from the 95-98 era.

Mothers Pride - Floribunda (Big C Remix) is my favourite of his only second to Beat Foundation - Foundations II.

Really cool, aloep. I didn't know that. I learn something new every day, so thanks for filling me in on that. That is amazing how diverse they are -- props for being able to do something like that, and now, their handling of live instruments within an electronic context.

at around 5:20 in Chicane - Red Skies, some divine pianoes are played, they unfortunately only last for 10 seconds. I get shivers down my spine whenever i hear this
Anyone else think those pianoes are amazing?

Yes I love this track, very relaxing!

Some fine moments mentioned here!

One of mine would have to be
Chicane - Live In Palladium (22-02-2000)
at around 3:30 when the breakdown from Halycon comes in, pure bliss!
