C.Sanchez come on even my grandma can score a goal like that just joking ... yeah it's indeed a wonderful goal , i have the same vid but the commentary is different , all you hear from the beginning till the end is : "Maradonna ... Maradonna ... Maradonna ... Maradonna ... GOAAAAAAAAAL GOAAAAAAAL GOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAL"

The goal would give me goosebumps if i was Argentinian , but since i am Moroccan it , well it doesn't

y que piensas de Marruecos ? tenemos muchos jogadores que hacen sus trabajos en las liguas europeanas

By the way here's a wonderful goal Hadji scored in WC 98 , click HERE

I have a lot of moroccan friends here in the Netherlands, one of 'm playes for Groningen
He's pretty good,a talented kid.
Moroccans are getting better and better at soccer and i don't doubt they will defenitly grow as a professional soccerteam...
I think Zidane is a people's favourite, but my favourite french league
player is Treziguet.....

Shame / Disagreement

heHe.....

Ok..

Zidane...Brahim Ba... Loko.. and that freaking awesome Goalie Barthez.. he does such a great job..I have to admit it... he is very ambitious on the field.. so I'd probably transfer him to Brazil if i could.. hahahhahahahha... although Taffarel is the man.. hes getting old....hehehe

hehe Taffarel is now retired , he was a nice goalie

Brahim Ba & Loko used to play for the national team , but they both haven't been called since the spring of 1998 ...

Taffarel Retired right after the world cup of 98...he is not going to play for the national team.. but he didnt retire his soccer career.. he is playing for Galatasaray (Turkey)...so he is just not gonna play for the national team..

sorry for the misunderstanding..

and just to add me tuppence.... (AND to bring the discussion to its original point )

ok i aven't talken bout football in ages so prepare for the biggest lecture eva on tha bloody topic

well.. me thinks that brazil has got serious problems..
not teamwise..
just federationwise
the whole football federation should resign and reform a new committee

to see a team with the likes of Rivaldo, Vampeta, R.Carlos, Cafu, Emerson.. all these players in a team that constantly plays badly and loses nowadays..

this is for bad organisation. and personally I don't see a surprise why they started to do worse when they appointed a potthead for national manager after the world cup (luxemburgo.. wot an arse)

now talkin about world cup, Argentina all da way
el mejor equipo del mundo! (for now at least)
wot a team. I just wish Roa comes back to the national team. I met him in person in Mallorca (where he plays now) and he's such a great person, goalkeeper and leader. i wish...

And another thing.. Maradona will always be class. Fuk drugs.. who cares. we all do drugs (well.. most of us nyway hehe)
as a player he's the best
and if you didn't read his book, do so.
it tells you what type of person he is too. not only a great player.. but also the same person. drugs didn't change him. it might have ruined his career but didn't change him as a person.

France.. hmm
Zidane is not at his best with Madrid now so hopefully he recovers his confidence before the world cup comes. (and hopefully he recovers it soon coz we need to beet Villareal tomorrow!!!)
the only OUTSTANDING frenchmen rite now are Pires, Henry, Viera, Trezeguet and Candela. The rest are ave been smokin too much of that funny stuff lately. (Barthez?)

and finally, watch out for Italy, England, Portugal and Spain in the world cup. especially Portugal.
The current team has much potential. After Euro2000, the team is even better and with Nuno Gomez, Figo, Rui Costa and Sergio Concecao in specific, this team will get far in the competition.

nuff sed.
HALA MADRID Y SIEMPE MADRID!!
Y LOS OTROS.. A LA MIERDA!

fanatico merengue numero uno..
PvT

its true. i dont know how argentina can be so proud of a footballer who CHEATED for you to win the world cup. i dont know how anybody can be proud of a cheater. and the fact he ruined his career made it worse. you should be more ashamed than proud. True he was very gifted, but its how you use a gift, and he wasted it. As for the world cup france argentina and italay are formidable forces. i wont include england because im english and in my opinion england are the 4th most formidable team, but many will say i say that jsut because im english, ah well.
