Arturo, you should come to SF on the 29th instead and see the most packed club you'll ever see at Ten15 when PvD plays here...you seriously can't move in the crowd. It's like a full pack of cigarettes! -- everyone standing straight up and can't move in any direction!

At least tell the PvD team that will be up here to be nice to me...heard they can be hardasses when it comes to the booth.

It amazes people still do not realize that PvD can play rather entirely different sets from city to city and even in different settings. The stuff he will play at an event like this will be much different than what you'll see played in a club. Expect a lot more of his well known, big anthems.

I am shocked he said OK to this event, when I believe he said he does not like playing at all-ages events.

Paul enjoys doing all ages event. I can also say his set from a club gig to an outdoor / bigger event does not differ much at all, usually 60% is all the same.

Well Arturo, I have heard him play multiple times in LA and SF, and he plays A LOT more banging here in SF than he typically plays in LA....and it's kinda known out here that he usually does play a bit differently between the two cities.

Of course in both cities he plays the tracks everyone expects him to play, but other than that they can be quite a bit different.

Maybe it's just him out here, I dunno....but in the past, he has played a bit different between the two cities. But maybe he's changed, because a couple weeks ago he apparently played a really hard set down in LA. :-p

He's also like a dead stick when he plays in LA, while when he plays in Ten15 here in SF, he can be quite animated, lol.
