Ok to settle things because this is getting into an entirely different territory.
I apologize for anything that may have been misleading, it wasn't intended to be. But as many of you are aware, rumour is a major factor in this industry, and people saying things that aren't true etc... (even if they think it is true) can have a serious impact on any given night. So as someone who works in this industry (Mind you only as of about a month ago) I'm always wary of people asking me questions about myself/the club/upcoming events.
Finally the reason the people at Boa asked me to work for them was because of what I was already saying about the club. I'm a fairly new partier as some of you know and I was awed by Boa, the way it was run, the security, the decor, the dedication to people having fun and I really really believed that this was something worth keeping around. So I made my point very clear right from the get go. I'd been going there since March and was talking about it nonstop for like 2 months.
They even told me the reason they wanted me was because they believed that I truly liked everything about the place and what they were trying to do and if I accepted the job for any reason other than having fun I shouldn't do it.
If the club had not approached me I can honestly guarantee that I would still be spouting out GO TO BOA like it was some fanatical mantra.
Just to let everyone know I stepped foot into my first club (Element Bar, may it rest in peace) at 12:00 am wednesday february 26th 2004 because my friend begged me to go out clubbing for the first time on my birthday. I'm not a promoter by trade nor did I ever contemplate getting such a job. They asked and yes was the only thing I could think of saying. I was and still am simply a dedicated (and articulate) fan.
So does anyone have anything else to say?
Note: I don't think McDonalds has anything to do with this lol
