I played AVP2 & was hanging on the end of my seat. The first marine level doesnt have any aliens/preds in it but you sense they are there & they make noises behind walls. I remember when i was walking down this sewer & I had my lamp on. My motion tracker started to bleep & I was like "oh shit" & then my lamp run out of energy & the light went out. It was totally pitch black. The bleep got louder, & i my lamp was charging up. With the lamp half charged I turned the lamp back on & "AHHH!!" the alien was in my face & killed me. I had a freaken heart attack man!!!! shit. I had a couple of other freaked out moments, but that was the killer.

Don't really play any "scary" games, although might have to try Doom 3. However, there are a few areas/levels in Thief and Thief 3 that can be (while playing at night, alone, volume up) a little "uneasy".

i've never been scared playing a game, but when doom 3 ships, that'll be a different story. i think i'm gonna buy a few grams of shroomz just to play doom 3 for the first time

Ack, looks like another scary chapter in the silent hill series.
Definitely trying to get the audience to think more of silent hill after playing it. The whole room idea playing on your mind as you go downstairs to get a midnight snack. Seeming as half the gameplay is gonna be first person aswell aswell as third person.

I thought System Shock was very scary. But I enjoyed it anyway.

I saw a ps2 game, Fatal Frame 2. On the back it read "Warning: Do not play this game alone" HAd some nice screenshots which looked scary. Is it really scary? whats it about
