Sorry if i will offend anyone, but what about makeing some rules for who can be the judge, like, i don't really trust "tranceaddict in training" as a judge, he just might be a friend of some dj, that's all, peace.
Just click the profile button, and u'll see that Clyde77 is no tranceaddict in training (look at the number of posts, day of registration, refereals).
And u shouldn't judge people by their status. This is an amateur competition so i don't think anyone of the competitors would have friends sign up as judges just to win. Most people do this just for fun or to recive feedback about their sets.

I'd say it's closer to software DJing than hardware.
If u and anyone else has anything against it plese tell me and I won't allow it any more.

Agree with that - physical hardware using vinyl is a no no - software on a PC monitor is fine.
Just no cut and paste software, maybe there's an idea for a future comp!
BUT, Here's one that aint been asked.....
Can the competitors use there own REMIXED tunes? or there own bootlegs?
competitor number 18
I will be using traktor dj studio 2.5.3

Well as I recall the original rules simply said:
- must mix with mp3s
- must use software
- must be mixed in real time
When I use TaktorFS I am certainly doing all of the above. Of course it is very close to mixing with normal records but seriously, it is mixing with mp3s and this is an mp3 mix competition. If it is really about purly a "software" mixing comp then so be it and I will bow out.
I have no problems pulling my name from the list if people feel that TaktorFS is really that different from Traktor.
Anyway, if FS is not allowed in this competiton, let's hope it is allowed the vinyl competiton (I have no idea whether it is or not, I have not tried to sign up for it). Otherwise I guess I'll just have to start my own FS/SSL DJ competiton

I'm not judgeing people by their status, but still there should be some rules, what about people who are registred later than this thread was started? And yes, we need judges badly! I know it's a hell of a job, but someone has to do it .
