To see a fellow capetonian be so rash is saddening to me.
It's a great site, but being aggressive never works well.

as for ogg/mp3.... I'm far too lazy to convert, I'd sooner buy a bigger HDD

Though admittedly, I can see why smaller file sizes is of use, broadband is ludicrously expensive in SA, any saving is worthwhile.

I guess you enjoy your DVD's a lot then. Most of the audio coding there is also 320 kbps!
And besides, you don't need a 3000 dollar sound-system to tell that. Most people can hear quite well when they put on a descent stereo-headphone

wow. quite a few interesting quotes i've seen here. quite a few ignorant ones 2: ogg is loads better than mp3, quality wise, and mp3 has loads more support, end of story, end of thread.
