i'm not too sure why you guys haven't gotten responses or money back. it was the same way with me pretty much...but then again i can't vouch for the seller because i won't be able to check on what came in the package until monday and it had better be exactly as described. in the mean time i would adivse everyone on the forum to not purchase anything from stacey until this gets resolved. both d3020 and i have some contact info, which i would be glad to give to anyone who wants it. just pm me.

if you check the link, the seller is vinylpushers aka sheyhyar\stacey. i would say it certainly is a scam at this point. i just hope that my mixer is EXACTLY as described and not completely different like the powebook scam and that d3020 and dj thanh and everyone else end up with either records or money back. i suppose the forum has learned a hard lesson at our expense...i know i may have lost $900. and to think that this was going to be my first mixer...so much for starting to dj now

go and report a fraud, and open the package in from of the postman or whatever, and explain to him your situation

You know its interesting I AIM'ed with Shehryar one time and ever since then he has not appeared online. I'm interested to see what ends up with your mixer Tegu because, as we both have said before, this really looks like fraud.

jeremy, the victim of Sheyhyar Qamar's powerbook scam, wrote me back the following email. This may be of help to you and others and will help to get the word out on this fraud.

Holy shit, sorry this shuckster is still out there. I'm pretty sure the
legit name is Sheryar Qaymar (or however it's spelled), that was the
original name on ebay and googling for it brings up mention of a DJ in so.
cal.

Obviously the "wife" or "fiance" is a bunch of bullshit.

Guy had been on ebay 5 years and had 96% feedback or so, not perfect
obviously but good enough that I trusted it.

Anyway, I'm going to keep updating this as things progress. Paypal has
been less than useless to me, if you paid using a credit card that's
almost definitely your best hope if things turn out bad.

Good luck, let me know how it turns out, I'll do the same. Feel free to
link my site so others can see what this seller is all about, I'm going to
leave your comments on here too.

definitly seems a bit scammy to me right now. if i recall whoever got the allen & heath mixer was buying for 1000 dollars less than what its really worth... that kinda says something is up...
