On a serious note there are a couple of places around but I'm unable to drag my friends there

there's not such thing as "trance clubs" or "progressive clubs" or even "techno clubs" in madeira. just house house house and cheese cheese cheese. that's one of the reasons i don't go often, the others are lack of time, lack of ride and lack of friends that want to go too.
