It does feel pretty messed up there. There's bars all over the place, along w/ other sinfull things. One thing that really is screwed up, is the bar that was where the phopet use to be. Personally i perfer the smaller wharehouse clubs and to me nothing beats redrocks for acostics and scenery when they have "rave on the rocks" or what is now called "Global Dance Fest"

We have a couple of these clubs in Adelaide (which is known as the city of curches).
One was an old Synagogue and has a couple of nights a week but is pretty commercial, and the other was a full on church called St Pauls, and is now mainly used for special parties - no regular club night (i don't think).
St Pauls does feel kinda strange, but is a pretty funky setting in my opinion!

now imagine the acoustics in a church compared to just an old warehouse a club owner usually has to look into

Speaking of church type clubs and partys, A couple years ago this one church's youth group had a great idea of spreading the Gospel by throwing raves every couple of weeks. I would of suggested that to my pastor, except he critized them for doing it. lol
