Thats the way to do it...to bad no-one else here does like that........everybody (including me) just takes fopr granted that its a spammer again....
the point is Eye-Riz that you act different depending on how many posts a person have.....and how can you know how to act upon a replie when you dont know how many posts he\she has?

Just act with tolerance/flexibility and respect: ask why they respond in the way they do. And: many posts or a few posts: that doesn't say something about someone's attitude
Regardless WHO and the postcount: people should treat eachother with respect. And yes, people do make mistakes. But be flexible: let them know they've made one, and tell them in a normal way (without swearing and calling names) how they should behave (and if they won't listen, then you can take other measures. Easy thing to do as far as I can see
By the way, I appreciate it that you're being honest about yourself (how you react) and that you're not just looking at others. Not too many people do that

So it never crossed your mind that people with a few posts are maybe (!) a little bit more selective than people with lots of posts?
Spammers and idiots will always exist indeed. But that appears not in your posting count! And I don't see the point why post count would help them to be less of an idiot.

I really don't think that it will change anything in the forums. The people that make useless threads are not making them only for the soul purpose of post count but they are just trying to be idiots. Many people use the interent to say whatever come to their mind because they know that they can't be judged in real life. Removing post counts will not help. I think it is fun to keep track of the posts. That's how you know it someone is a regular here or not.

Yes but again........someone with 1000 posts will not spam the forum since its a seriouos TA.......someone with 1 post might as well register again......so he\she doesnt really mind right?
that means that if someone with 1000 posts makes a silly thread..you should know that its not in the purpose to ruin the forum.......

that's just all very suggestive. You don't know what people mean or if they do something on purpose or not, whether they have many posts or not, that's what I'm trying to say. I saw plenty of useless posts and threads made by people who have many posts, so don't say that having many posts is a guarantee for some quality...

Ummm.... Sorry but I think that was just dumb. If we have to resort to freekin 'pen and paper' for a damn post count whats the point of having it....I don't care anymore about what anybody does to this site because I dont think an opinion matters. i'll still post the same and constantly remind my self not to post any pointless replys for the fear of being kicked off/ replys deleted, etc,etc,etc...

That is next step if this doesn't work.
Swamper when you do make decisions like this do you post it somewhere so everyone can be on the same page. Kinda like what you've been using the announcements for. Post count doesn't really matter to me, but it just feels weird when everybody is talking about something that you havn't even heard about. Especially when it's something that affects everyone on the board.
