1) Too many people who think they are experts on everything they have seen even a glimpse of on TV.

2) Too many people are conservative. Meaning that they shy away from anything new or unknown.

3) No really big cities.

4) A small population in conjunction with point 2 means that you have to go abroad for nurturing your special interests (i.e. buying techno records is impossible in Denmark).

5) Way too many fake socialists (social democrats) who preach tolerance and show absolutely none themselves.

the worst thing about the U.S.? hideous subdivisions where all the houses look the same and no one knows their neighbor. people move out to the new developments looking for a fresh start - away from the "dangerous" city life but in reality they just bring their problems along because they are too lazy to actually DO anything about it.
