but there's something terrible about not being able to explain the situation to yourself......and being few in numbers (1 or 2 people) and secluded.
the feeling is unexplainable......
the feeling is so overwhelming, you either feel like curling up and dying, or running like youve never ran before (literally). Eitherway, the adrenaline is absolutely insane. |
According to psychology, the reaction would actually be either, stand your ground and fight, or run your ass off. It's called the fight or flee response or something like that.
And the story was totally freaky, I've heard some very freaky storys from close friends.
There is this one road that goes right by a cemetary, and there usually isnt too much traffic there late at night.
Two of my friends had very freaky experiences on this same road.
My first friend was drivin home late at night and it was raining. He was driving up the road when all of a sudden a woman appeared right in front of his car. He slammed on his brakes to stop, but because of the rain he couldn't. He plowed right through her, but when he got out of his car to see wat happened to her, there was nothing there, she has just vanished.
My other friend was drivin down the road late at night, and all of a sudden his headlights went out, he checked the switch and it was in the on position, he turned them off and on again but they still wouldn't come back on. As soon as he got past the far fence of the graveyard the light came right back on.
Very freaky stuff.

that story was awesome. i really wanna check it out now. maybe i'll have to take a road trip. I love these scary ass situations. i know of some around here. we just have small towns around here in the low thousands and some "unincorporated" and an bunch of farms and woods. Your story reminded me of this one:
My experience was kind of similar. i was camping way up north with my friend. well one night we were just getting back from going fishing and i said, "dude, guess what?" All of the sudden all of these wolves started howling like crazy from across the lake. thats not weird for up north, but then we were hearing all this screaming and yelling of some guy in about the same direction we heard the howling. that was scary as hell. the next night we went out fishing again. we were in his boat about 20 meters away from shore. we heard some twigs cracking, so we got out the spotlight and shined and we saw this nice big deer. we were watching it drink out of the water and walk around the trees in the area. about five minutes later his spotlight just went out. we just thought, "whatever" cause it does use a lot of battery. less than 10 seconds later we heard a small growling noise just off shore where the deer was. well i found a flashlight under the seat of the boat and shined it over there, and we saw something walking away really slowly up this hill behind some trees, so we just saw the feet. it looked like human feet. the freakiest thing was that we could see the deers head being dragged right next to it. Withing 5 seconds or so it was already gone then the spotlight came back on agian. at that point we were like, "fuck this" and we went back to our campsite and broke into his cabin. (we were camping next to his cabin because we werent allowed to go in until his family came up the next day cause they are just rentin it...)
this on happend to my friend a few months ago:
One night she was driving down this country road a few miles outside of this town where i live, and she looked over into the ditch and she saw this big catlike creature running. She said it was probably bigger than a tiger, except it was black like a panther, and it was running at about the same speed as her car, which was like 55mph. she looked ahead on the road for a second just to make sure she wasnt veering of the road and when she looked back it was gone. messed up...
