Great fuckin post!!! Being from the northeast.....there is plenty of Tiesto bashing going on up here.....(they all act like fuckin cry babies cause Tiesto didn't spin an encore last time he has @ Roxy in NYC) so trust me, I sick and tired of hearing it also. Its one never ending cycle.....the number one DJ will continue to get bashed only because he is number 1. Its funny cause half of these assholes have never even seen him perform more than once if that.
Anyways to get back on topic, I got his whole performance from the opening ceremony on my pc and watched it last night.......truly amazing!!!

"he is to mainstream" well let me tell you something, good music is good music no matter if its trance, rock, rap , salsa. and if it is good music it will make it to the masses. and that is what tiesto makes. GOOD MUSIC. i'm looking at armin/ferry(who are also 2 of my favorites) and i see so much talent, what if he wins #1 dj in the coming years and he blows up incredibly, will all you armin lovers say " NO, he is to mainstream i cant listen to him anymore." i hope not if you are a true fan you will stick with the music you love.
i read over the track list and even though they were all tiesto songs, alomost all of them i loved. if there is a tiesto set where he plays only his music that has to be one of the best if not the best sets he could possibly throw down. he even played my favorite track of all time obsession - tiesto/ junkie xl. IF ANYONE KNOWS WHERE I CAN GET THIS SET PLEEEEEAAAASEEEE TELL ME HOW??? |
