they still will be just-born country,
they will not have the israeli army power in click of a finger,
and if they will have an army power close to that of Israel's, don't you think they will kill much much more israelis? its not like they are monkeys or something that cant use tanks/air-planes. look what happened in 1973 Kipur war, that wasn't funny at all

i believe people said the same before they had a goverment,
and before they were given weapons and security forces
and also before they had anti-tank missles
and also before they had the Kasam Rocket...
but they are still an underdog, and israel cant attack with more than 1% of its full force.

and do you think that if they get an army, then they will stop using the palestinain civillians as human shields? israel still would have no right to carpet-bomb gaza like Russia did in Chechnia...

and i must agree with Yoepus, after they will get independence, they wont need and army for protection and dont deserve one. Israel *surprise surprise* is not an agressor that occupies countries for fun.
and please dont go and say that israel also didnt deserve one, because israel was attacked by almost all sorrounding arab states in the day of its Independence.

its even stupid to give them indepndece and army now, so we could use full force. it would be 10xtimes harder to reoccupy it again. your suggestion will never stand the reality test.

thats why they should get their independnce only and only after they no longer pose a threat on Israel.
