mayday 2000 great set, definetly a trance classic, in should be in every trance lovers, trance cd portfolio, at least if you have any respect for the history of this muzik... as far as when pvd drops hard tunes i would say thats more his style, thats the germen influence, and it sounds right if thats your sound(and usually spins hard at space, because thats what the crowd likes there) i personally like pvd's ibiza sets a little more melodic, less repetive, more journey-like trance(a lot like tiesto). tiesto doenst really play too many hard tunes besides the pervasive tech trance that has infiltrated the scence the past couple years, and he plays most of the more popular tech trance tunes from producers like Marco V, Katana, etc. but your right, last june he did play alot of darker harder stuff at space(esp middle of set), and your right didnt sound right, i never heard him spin stuff like that before, and i saw him twice after that day and he played like the tiesto i know, journey style trance.. the tiesto that i love.. not the aberration at space, it was almost like those werent his vinyls..weird.. just my thoughts.... but i think that the trance of a few years ago was more pure..just better.. i love the old tiesto sets and pvd sets, i prefer both of there older styles... now pvd is a little too bangin' for me(at least at space) and i still love tiesto sets just not as much, just because the muzik has evolved and changed so much. what do you think??

Agreeing with you fully here. I thought I was hearing someone else spin when Tiësto played in June. He used to be my #2 fav. dj. Tiësto in Concert '03 was the absolute best set I ever heard from him.
