Fahrenheit 911 was a factual and opinionated film. I dont know if 100% of the facts are true, but from what i know the facts that Moore presented were true. There was a saudi connection, and bush did nothing before 911 to prevent attacks. The saudi connection was already documented by a CBC show before the movie came out. Anyways, Moore put his opinion with the facts, and theres nothing wrong with that. People should be able to distinguish the difference there and agree or disagree with Moore, not discredit what he has presented in a movie altogether.
The true brainwashing has been from the government. The american people to tricked into beleiving there were 'weapons of mass destruction' at first during the war, but no real intel suggested saddam was building up warfare. And in the end, no WMD were found and the american people were supporting a president that wanted to wage war against iraq for their so called "war on terror" and the president hoped people would support a "war on terror" in iraq like they did with a war on terror in afghanistan. |
Amen!!!
I wish all Americans were more open-minded like us Canadians up here
