No, you think you are those things because you've had the sudden revelation that trance is formulaeic, kiddy and whatever the hell else you want to think. You're not just saying "trance no longer appeals to me", you're saying "trance is crap because it's simplistic and formulaeic". And that's quite frankly bullshit. You don't stop liking a type of music because you realise it isn't fucking Mozart, unless you're elitist, which you evidently are.
I personally listen to all sorts of music, from epic-trance to ambient, to nu-metal and classical, with just about every form of EDM thrown in. Some genres I don't like, but I'll happily admit to listening to Sash!, Limp Bizkit, Eminem and 2 Unlimited, not because I think they're inspired music-making, but because I enjoy their music. And anyone who thinks I should be flamed for liking those artists can go fuck themselves right now.
