Damn that was an awesome party with an amazing set by Santana! I felt like I was in Space (Miami)! Normally when trance is being played at the Amphitheater on any other occassion, everyone leaves the dance floor. Since most of the people were at Amp to check out Santana, the atmosphere was great!! Everyone there actually appreciates good music. And thank god the AC didn't die this time otherwise I would have died because I couldn't stop dancing to the magnificent selection of tracks Santana threw down. THANK YOU PAUL for Sat night!! Thanks for playing White Room. One of the best tunes of the year!! Also the Orange Theme...WOW!! And opening with Adagio For Strings. God this tune always send chills down my spine. In preparation for this night, I watched Tiesto In Concert(DVD) and kept repeating the opening track which was Adagio For Strings. I was hoping that Santana would play this song and indeed he did. That made my night!! Terry Bones was spectacular spinning some classis tunes like Kay Cee - Escape. I only wished the night could have lasted a little longer. I wanted to go to the after party at Night Moves but was too inebriated to drive so I rode with my friends who all wanted to go to Floyd's at the casino instead. Definitely will be going there to see Santana spin this Sunday night. Hopefully they'll let him play whatever he chooses. Damn PVD Sat night (if hurricane doesn't destroy Miami) and then Santana all night on Sunday. It's gonna be a good weekend. Can't remember who mentioned the Tacos on 17th St in Ybor. But those are the best tacos ever, especially at 3 in the morning. Never thought grouper or shrimp in tacos could be appealing. They are the SHIT!! See you all at SPACE this Sat night!!
