Holy fuck, well done in busting this store. You know what, it's a pretty sad state of affairs. How is the industry ever going to be able to convince fans to buy their MP 3's, when shit like this happens? Stores like this are killing it for legitimate businesses.

I don't think that this store is a fair reflection of the scene we have here in Toronto. It's not what it was, but you cannot discount the whole scene based on the way that one company chooses to operate.

So, one CD means the whole company is damned? Do you guys know the history of tripledecks?

There's recently been stores in Toronto selling bootlegs of Northern Exposure, shouldn't those stores be damned for selling copies where the producers of the tracks dont get anything?

I just can't believe some of ya have your panties all bunched up over one song that slipped by.

And don't forget to name the Remix after the Release Group

This is so funny! They've been caught bang to rights, mutha f*****s!

Question to Robert, Haak and Passiva etc: How did these tunes get leaked in the first place? Who's fault is it?

that's not really the issue here. judging by the time the mix appeared in the amateur section, most (not all) tracks were already released on vinyl. but this isn't a case of abusing mp3s, it's about making a demo mix and (trying to) selling it.

im pretty sure destiny has done this for a while where they work with Tripledecks to sell sets from DJs who played @ wemf...i would imagine that they sign a contract stating their wemf set is going to get sold..but then again i really would know...im guessing!

Why don't you ask that to the DJ's who give permission to there sets being recorded.

While you're at it, goto Numb, and every other record store that sells tapes and give them a hard time to.
