i prefer male vocals over female vocals. maybe because i'm female, but i just find male vocals so dark and mysterious in many songs.

in addition to many of the great male vocal songs people posted...

Stereomovers - Soul Sweeper (MV's Back In The Day Mix)
Depeche Mode - I Feel Loved (Danny Tenaglia Remix)
Amoebassasin - Piledriver (Greyed Out Summer Mix)
Amoebassasin - Speedway Revisited <--- 2nd to last song in Oakie's EM in China... omfg i love that song
Tears For Fears - Mother's Talk (Greed Remix)
any Hybrid song with Adam Taylor's vocals

and i especially love Ben Lost's voice.

male vocals do work with EDM songs, but it has to have some 80s pick up beat to it .. if not, then it's not going to work.

stuff like depeche mode, tears for fears, pet shop boys works. also doesn't it seem like european accent male vocals work better than any other accent in EDM songs. a coincidence that EDM was originated in Europe ?

hahahahhaa

I'm not totally sure about this statement. I thought EDM originated in the USA in the 70's and progressed in the 80's into forms like house music. house music was the building block for EDM in europe.

Is this inaccurate?
