I honestly had one of the best times of my life....I was hoping for a long time to see Tiesto outdoors and it was insane.. the Trance gods graced us with such a beautiful day. The weather was great and so was the crowd. True Trance fans.
I was wearing a pink blow pop shirt with a pink skirt and the ends of my hair are pink.. I thought I recognized a few people was too much into the music.
I was actually lucky enough to walk away from the event with a free cd from someone and a autographed poster.
My boyfriend had to actually help out the guy that caught the tiesto cd because people started throwing punches for it...
As far as Tiesto's set.. I was not really into the beginning but once the sun went down he was great.. there was of course his anthems, and he played some new stuff that was awesome. I loved all of the new stuff...
I screamed my heart out yesterday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!TIESTO!

i disliked tiesto's set, he didn't wreck at all (he had a small gallop once towards the end but that's all) what fucked it up for me was how he would put on some hard track that made the place go nuts and then play some fluffy crap (borrowed that from joey) Vlad started playing solitare at one point lol
And the funniest thing that i saw was this :
I have some vids and more pics but good god am i tired, i'll post all the goodies tonight.
Can't go without mentioning everyone i ran into tonight
Vlad, Amy, Joanna, Kasper, Sean, Bobby, Garret & Serge (D00bie smoking alliance) John, Alisa, Alyssa, Mike and DAVE! if i forgot someone forgive me... i'm fuckin tired.
One last thing Colibri, dood next time you decide to take more than you can handle don't feel the need to start harassing anyone. |
Hey Sergio. Your review basically sums up what some friends of mine who went said. They said it was a major self promotion of his songs. Nothing too spectacular. But def a set I should have gone to see. They said his mixing was better than usual. One of them, who is just as big a Tiesto fan as I am a PVD fan said that this didn't even compare to PVD back in June.
It seems I'm reading mixed reviews about it. I just hope all of you guys & gals had a good time. That's what matters the most!

some pics couldnt be bothered to put all of them up just yet.
the night was pretty solid, a couple mistakes here and there, along with the same complaints about lighting, sound, standstill moments, etc. however, i had a great time even if i'm not a huge tiesto fan to begin with. my first party since moving to nyc, getting me psyched for much better ones to come. good vibes from most people, and a great way to relax on a weekday for once!
really liked it when he droped rain down on me and love comes again, sweet moments
oh i'm the one with light brown hair in the pics with the side lip pierced the other two asians are my roomies. |
Welcome to NYC...Now party hard

hey
I didnt see many of the TA's i saw at AVB. Though I saw that guy with the bald head! i dont know his name. if u read this thread, we are the CANADIANS!
as for the show. the whole setup was kool, though they didnt seem to use any of the lights or lasers that they had setup. Sound was way too quiet. otherwise the set was good, nothing super banging, but enuff that it was worth it to chill and miss classes for.
is it just me or did he not play flight 643?
