Wait, so most of you have this 'point' system where you give people certain scores based on how you observe them reacting to traps you put up for them? Fuck - it's no wonder so many of you can't hold on to a decent relationship. Love by numbers is never meant to last. I suppose it works good and well for sex (don't lie to yourselves ladies, you need it too) but the foundation of a good and meaningful relationship that transcends this lower-order of being could never be based on some retarded score-based system. It's like you're hosting applications for companionship - that sort of thing is never meant to last.

You'll soon run out of the passion in any relationship if all you do is keep track of how they're doing. It should be more focused on how WE'RE doing, as the ultimate goal (if there ever was to be one) should be for two people to become as one, forever.

Maybe I just have a far too romantic outlook on things, though ^^;

Man I know EXACTLY what you mean, I started this new job about 3 months ago, this chick started at the same time, I didn't take any notice of her as I went into this job just for the job and to only concentrate on it, well over the next 2 months I talked to her now and then and joked around, but still didn't take much notice, then over the last month so, she is constantly coming over and acting different, like talking complete nonsence and about things that you really can't hold a conversation with, so I start something else up, then thats were her personality shines as she is funny and very smart, then when I kinda started to take notice of her, it seems like its come to a stand still, I hate getting headfucked like this, so I've gone back to how things were before and don't pay much attention, but she is in training at the moment so things are quiet around here right now and I don't see her much, anyway, I'm not wasting my time with these games, and just gonna let things go by themselves.

Halycon: yea I know, its fucked up to me to, but I'm also the Romantic type.

EDIT: as for the outgoing and party side of things, don't worry about that part, I'm always like that.

well there comes a point when you just need to go for it. i'm just saying that women can tell when you're out looking for some ass. just go out and be yourself and talk and have a good time and they'll take notice of that. you gotta let them know you're interested eventually though...

in your office at least you gotta be careful not to just be the office chum. maybe she was interested, but you didn't really give her any signs that you were interested too...its a delicate balance. eventually you just gotta say...hey...lets go get some food after work.

tell you one thing that is a lot of fun - that's not playing the game at all, and i mean the interest game - not playing hard to get, i mean just showing a complete lack of interest.

its really rather fun and provides some funny results

eg - if you have the chance to sit on the couch with someone, make the first eye contact and then let it be at that. not playing the game at all can drive a girl nuts if she feels that you're not even looking at her
