there are some neat ffects in FruityLoops, for example the best vocoder thing: the Fruity Granulizer, that one is very cool for slowing down, or speeding up the voice and with some other ffects added to the vocal, you`ll be able to make a nice one

Another question, probably a really basic one as well (but i am a newbie to production so give me a chance ). Can a symth be incorporated with say FL for example, so you can save samples from the synth in FL and still get the 'professional' sound from the synths?? I hope that question made sense.

just get a record program that records a note from your synth to mp3 or wav then load it in FL u can add ffects there and use it as a normal sample

If im not mistaken you can hook your hardware synth up to fruityloops via the midi or asio port, then use the seq/piano roll in FL to make a little midi framework(the notes, the velocities, etc) then apply one of your synth patches to it.. I'm not sure exactly how that works, im 100% softsynth: you might wanna look on their website for info on how to integrate hardware.

also I think you can use the little knobbies on your synth to control software automation of other channels (like the volume of your snares or whatever)

Third one is not so easy... If youve heard the song Confusion by New Order, i need a sound like the main "melody" if you can call that a melody. Can that be produced on a TS404???
