Jepp, klein aber fein kann man da nur sagen!
Die Location war eine kleine Bar mit ebenso kleiner Tanzfläche im Keller des Studenten-Hauses, die Atmosphäre war locker und entspannt und es haben immer mal wieder ein paar neue Gäste reingeschaut.

Für mich persönlich war auch klasse, dass ich von den gespielten Tracks nur sehr wenige kannte, das waren wohl so einige Progtrance-Sachen, die aus der Zeit stammen wo ich noch nicht so sehr in der Prog-Szene bewandet war

Ich fand das Ganze machte einen sehr runden Eindruck, der gespielte Musik-Style hat gut in die dortige Atmosphäre gepasst und die Leute waren gut durchmischt, trotzdem waren sie so wie es schien dem Sound nicht abgeneigt! Auch wenn einige Anwesende von unserer GTA-Feier-Force ein wenig überrascht schienen, aber das ist verständlich, wir sind ja doch schon die Extremisten in der Richtung

Das kannst du laut sagen, Yoko! Ich war in der Tat ein wenig überrascht, sehr positiv überrascht! Ich hätte ehrlich gesagt nicht erwartet, dass die Musik die gespielt wurde von den anwesenden Studenten so gut angenommen wird, aber ich ließ mich da gerne eines besseren belehren.

Depeche Mode - I feel loved (Danny Tenaglia Mix), bis hin zu etwas mehr Uplifting (PvD feat. St. Etienne - Tell me why), kurz bevor wir gegangen sind.

wollte auch mit einem kollegen vorbei kommen. wir waren schon auf dem weg von struvenhütten mit dem taxi nach kaltenkirchen dann ne halbe stunde auf die lezte akn gewartet dann in die U1 aber die ist dann aus irgendeinem grund in ochsezoll stehen geblieben und das war die letzte bahn. naja schade aber nächstes mal bin ich dabei.

Ok, here I am again to finally give my little review. Yes it was not full at all and I'm really glad that some TAs were there to bring some support! Last year we managed to fill the room but as the people change every year in those student houses, you never know what to expect. Anyways, the most important is that the people that were present had a nice time, and I'm gald to read that the TAs also spent a good night; though the music I played was slightly different from the style they might be used to hear. So from my part, I had a lot of fun. the only thing wich was sad in a way is that I couldn't find time to speak with you guys, as I was playing all the time. But I hope we'll fix that up and have drink at some party. So we keep in touch. And starting from now, I think you should see me more often in the GTA corner. Thanks to you guys.

Some comments about the tracklist: the begining was a bit messy as I found it hard to get something suitable for the people there. Yeah, as the people who were present saw it, we had quite a mixed public that night. With real trance fans (GTA style), and as I like to call them, "Trance virgins". I would say that the set really started with "I should know" by Dirty Vegas.

To BetaBlocker: the track you asked me about that night was:
Space Manoeuvres - Stage One (Leama & Moor remix). Quite hard to find by the way.

Yes, you're right I played this track. Thanks for telling me, i had totally forgotten. I edited the tracklist.

I don't know when I'll do another party of that sort. Probably next semester. We never know. Maybe the new people that come might be more receptive to that kind of music. But till that time I hope we'll have other parties with the GTA crew! See you.
