Look at it this way. Do you really want the right to wear a dress? I don't, does that make me a homophobe because I think that style of clothing is exclusively suited to women? Dresses are a style of clothing that flatters the female form, and looks horrible on guys.

Not in a literal sense, of course.

But from a lot of the comments on this thread, it seems as though some people would be afraid to talk to a guy wearing a pink shirt. Hell, I knew kids in High School who were so homophobic, they were afraid to talk to my math teacher because all he wore was pink and lime T-shirts. some guys can pull off pink, and some can't.

Pink seems to be in fashion in many parts, and I wore a bit until I went out for a drink with a girl and she said that she absolutely hates pink shirts on guys, sure it may only be one girl, but I moved my preferences on a little.

It all comes down to what is socially acceptable.

Quite often the differences between genders can squeeze in a little during periods of gender imbalance and equality.

Some hazard theories that females have had many years of moving from being severely socially disadvantaged to being closer to equal treatment, and athough there are still many areas such as careers in business and politics where women are still prejudiced, in social situations not many people would disagree that women are the dominant players.

The trend toward men being metrosexual and wearing clothes that would normally be the domain of women provides evidence of males are becoming a little more empowered.

Or, pink just looks good on some guys.
