Let's see. To correct some misconceptions here...

*You won't lose muscle if you don't do cardio.
*You can lose lots of fat by doing weight training and no cardio, however your aerobic system will be behind and you won't be able to train as effectively as if you were training cardio. You may encounter heart problems, etc...
*You shouldn't try to get cut and gain muscle at the same time. If you try you may end up overtraining. You have to gain muscle first over a period of months by strength training then cut by endurance training. Maintenance training by lifting moderately most of the time and heavy once every other week when you want...
*Creatine does not make anything easy, steroids doesn't even make things easy. You always have to work hard. Those things only aid you to varied degrees.

If anyone is interested(yeah right), at my best I weighed 160 and had a one rep bench press max of 235. Height, 5'11" That would be:

1 45
1 35
1 10
1 5

On each side. Two years ago when I was 17.

Thats roughly about what i was doing at the same age. I weighed a bit less (closer to a buck fifty), but put up 235 on my final max bench senior year.

I wish I could still do that shit.

That's weak. I won't be satisfied until i'm more than twice as strong. Unfortunately I haven't lifted a weight in almost a year, but that's a good thing since it will give me a chance to start over from the beginning with all that I learned in the interim, and to work lower body this time .

And folks, I cannot stress this enough...WORK THOSE WHEELS!

My strengh training is a bit botched. I don't have a bench, just a bar with only 85lbs, so I'm forced to make due. Right now I just do standing shoulder/bicep routine on mon/wed/fri. Since I have to max it out at 85 I just progress by doing extra sets of 6 while progressing down to about 40 (taking off 5lbs at a time). Then I just do pushups on the inbetween days, and crunches every day. Good for tone I guess, which is what I'm after.

I also run every day, though my calves are having trouble keeping up. Probably because I've been skating for the last 3 years and that's what my legs have been conditioned to (the calves hardly get any work, since the ankles are held rigid most of the time).
