explanation for number 2.

this is not the best picture to illustrate this but looking upwards means either: trying to remember or making up a lie. the left/righht direction can be reversed for some people. focusing is the answer.

your eyes move when you access different parts of the brain. this can be seen in most people when asking them a question.

how do you feel?
what color was the house you grew up in?
what does your favourite trance tunde sound like?
etc...

so this means that when you study and want to remember stuff, tilt your head a little forward so that your eyes are looking slightly upward, you are then accessing your visual memory. lying down on your back with book on your tummy is bad for remembering.

On the first question:

Sound would definitly resonate lower, because the glass has more weight on it, and has to vibrate slower to compensate, hence a lower sound. Whereas an empty glass has little/no weight on it, so the crystal can vibrate faster, resonating with a higher sound.

Mate, 37 degrees is stinking hot in water. You've never swum in a pool that hot, its FARKIN hot.

An olympic pool is 27.3 degrees, and that is the optimum temperature for muscles.
I used to swim in a pool that was 31 degrees, it was so hot it wasn't funny, you really do feel the difference in water temperature. Hot water saps the energy from your body, makes everything much much harder. He definitely won't swim faster, I'd say 6k he won't finish. An intense training session for me (say around total of 5k in 1 hour 30) was hard enough at 31 degrees, 37 you wouldn't make it.

Hmm i thought 1/2 here. You have 50% chance picking up a red or a white ball that your going to put in the bag with the other white ball. Here starts the chance factor and thate the only place.

Because after you take one of the 2 balls and put them in the bag and then take a white ball out of the bag. There is 50% chance that the remaining ball white is or red.

You know, i do that sometimes, just look up wwhen i study or trying to rememeber things. I hardly seen anyone look up when trying to focus. Though the majority saying focus.

Third Question.
A good swimmer tries to swim 6 kilometers. The water has a temperature of 37 degrees Celcius. What will happen?

This is a no-brainer. He won't make the finish. I'd go as far as saying it's a physical impossibility for any human being to swim this far in this temperature of water. He/she would probably drown from exhaustion.


Fifth Question.
Which wheel will spin harder? If you take a turn with a bicycle, both wheels are equally big.
-The front one.
-The rear one.
-Both wheels spin equally hard.

This is really a question of physics. If by "harder" you mean faster, then in a perfect environment they will spin exactly the same since they are connected via the bike from and are on a flat surface. However, if you mean harder as in force, then the back wheel will be exerting more force since it is directly connected to the pedals via chain, and is indeed providing the thrust and force for the entire bicycle. So... be more specific.

Sixth Question
You have a bag with a white ball in it. You put BLINDLY a red or a white ball with it. Then you take blindly a ball out from the bag, and this ball seems to be white. How big is the chance that the ball that got left in the bag, white is?

3/4, as many people have stated before this. It's easy and basic fractions... The chances of a two white balls being in the bag is 1/2. (and 1/2 for a red/white combo.) So, 1/2 of the time, the one you pick will always be white. For the 1/2 of the time that there is a red/white ball in the bag, there is a 1/2 chance that the ball you choose is white. Hence, 3/4 as a total chance the ball you choose is going to be white.

wrong i am afraid.

it works like this - there are millions of tiny amoeba on the surface of the glass singing. when you fill up the water, most of them drown, which means less singing, which means it sounds high (in the same way that a large crowd sounds lower than a single person)
