imo...obviously, if a regular person were to try shrooms or acid first, i would tell them to do shrooms. acid isnt for the weak. and most people whom i know have done it who arent like me, have not enjoyed it because they dont know how to use it. when i say use, i dont mean put it in your mouth, but to "use" the trip. this is how i explain e, cid, and shrooms to people. there are three different ways you're self can be affected. the mind, the body, and the eye. the eye being what you see. x is mainly, body and mind, little eye. cid is mind and eye little body. and shrooms are body and eye, little mind. so if a person who has never tripped before were to choose one of the two "eye" drugs, shrooms would be better, because it gives a person the change to have a clear mind while experiencing hallucinations. dont get me wrong all three drugs have the potential to affect the three different parts, but in "normal" doses, you will usually only get 2 of 3. acid wasnt meant for the "weak of mind", not that it means stupid people, but a certain type of person i cant really explain. someone who can separate themselves from emotions and the world and be able to see yourself different from the rest. so if i havent confused you enough my point is, for the average person, to be on the safe side, try shrooming first. and cid only if you are ready for it. cid is one of the best tools for the mind you could have, but not everyone can use it. most people wouldnt be able to handle it at low doses, let alone at more extreme amounts. and also like i said earlier: dont be afraid of any amount you take, once again im sure i can prove to you that what you took or how many times you did will not affect you're daily life, aside from addictions. sorry for the on and on

Does any toronto TA know where I can hook up some positive elements, not some mashy shit that fucks you up all nite. What's happened to the good stuff? And where are the parties with the best vibes? the gino/pornstar scene is eating me alive, I'm looking for love and friendship not cracked out fiends. My respect to everyone who believes in a higher level.

I too agree with B.S.E that shrooms warp your mind quite a bit, but not to the same extent as acid does, assuming of course that the dose is relatively standardized for the two. I believe that shrooms are more forgiving in situations where anxiety or panic might arise, where as an acid bath is a full force dive into the other realms of consciousness. It is a wild rollercoaster which forces you to seperate from the intersubjective reality you come to belive as life. Like an alien you can view life, others, and socitey in general from a distant perspective, where analysis and interpertation can be gathered without the usual personal biases which filter your consciousness. Psychedelics are great tools for self enlightment, by the very virtue in which they enable you to tracend the traditional innate mechanisms of filtering subjective realities which over time become the basis of your ego. I too agree that psychedelics are not for the weak of mind. To quote the man himself
"ACID IS NOT FOR EVERY BRAIN... ONLY THE HEALTHY, HAPPY, WHOLESOME, HANDSOME, HOPEFUL, HUMOROUS, HIGH-VELOCITY SHOULD SEEK THESE EXPERIENCES. THIS ELITISM IS TOTALLY SELFDETERMINED. UNLESS YOU ARE SELFCONFIDENT, SELFDIRECTED, SELFSELECTED, PLEASE ABSTAIN."
Timothy Francis Leary 1921-1996

I usually pop 2 and then I'm done I have done as many as 9 in a 24hr period and was awake and rolling hard the entire time. Looking back now I would never do that many again mainly I was tired for days and broke as a joke.
